Professional Noise Mapping Trainings in UAE 2015

Driven by the success of the First Noise Mapping training held in Dubai in October 2014 and the supreme feedback received Vibrocomp Middle East proudly announces further trainings in first half of 2015 in Dubai, UAE.

We have scheduled one three-day training for entry level and three two-day trainings for the more advanced users. Advanced trainings include detailed overviews of EU and US standards, legislations, detailed noise assessment of different noise scenarios, as well as case studies for professional ActionPLANNING!

Training topics and dates:

• March 30-April 1 Three-day entry level training “From Basic Acoustics to Noise Mapping”. We further improved our successful training held in October 2014!
• April 14-15 Two-day advanced level training on Industrial Noise in Environmental Impact Assessments (industry indoor and outdoor noise as well as cost-effective reduction action planning using the industry expert tool)
• May 05-06 Two-day advanced level Community Noise (Road, tram, metro and other public transport noise sources) reduction action planning
• June 02-03 Two-day Construction Noise modelling, mitigation and law enforcement (international best practices and case studies)

Maximum number of participants is limited to 25 for each training; the practical parts of the trainings will be conducted in groups of maximum 3 persons.

Participants successfully finished The First Noise Mapping Training!

The First Professional Noise Mapping Training was held by Vibrocomp last week. Beside the large number of attendants from Dubai and Alain Municipalities, participants from the private sector as well as from universities have attended the training. The participants from over 7 different countries in the region have been trained about acoustics, noise propagation, noise measurements, noise mapping and action planning. In the exercise of the last day everybody created a noise map of his own based on the input data they collected in the pilot area the previous day. Vibrocomp and SoundPLAN provided three days full support and expert guidance for the practical exercises as well as laptops preinstalled with SoundPLAN and Class I noise measurement instruments.

Driven by the success of this event and the supreme feedback received, Vibrocomp will host two further trainings end of February, 2015. We have scheduled one three-days training for entry level and one two-days training for the more advanced.
