The View Hospital, Doha, Qatar - Environmental Noise Assessment & Acoustic Mitigation

VIBROCOMP is carrying out a comprehensive environmental and building acoustic assessment at The View Hospital, covering the Ecology Unit and Healing Garden at Level 6. The assessment included on-site noise measurements using Class 1 instrumentation, evaluation of prevailing LAeq noise levels against the applicable criterion, and identification of the dominant mechanical and building-services noise sources affecting the assessed areas.
The study also includes an investigation of airborne and structure-borne noise transmission paths, assessment of existing acoustic conditions and treatments, and development of practical noise mitigation measures where required.
The assessment will provide a technical basis for the development of appropriate acoustic treatment solutions for the Healing Garden and surrounding sensitive areas, with the objective of improving the acoustic environment and supporting the required noise criteria within the hospital development.
