VIBROCOMP awarded as Acoustic Consultant for EXPO2020

Dubai will host the World Expo between October 2020 and April 2021 bringing together more than 180 nations and an international audience of 25 million visitors, one of the greatest event on Earth.
On a 438 hectare site, connected to three international airports and a dedicated transport network, Expo will provide visitors with the chance to see spectacular architecture, merge with global cultures, examine thoughtful and thought provoking exhibitions and taste food from every corner of the globe.

VIBROCOMP ME, member of VIBROCOMP International, is the commissioned acoustic consultant to this once in a lifetime event.   

VIBROCOMP will contribute with its unique 40 years of experience and latest state-of-the-art technical knowledge and grant for the unforgettable acoustic experience. In the first stage VIBROCOMP will develop the acoustic standards each pavilion has to fulfill and publish site-wide guidelines to the designers. In the second phase acoustic designs will be verified to ensure acoustic comfort to amaze the many millions who visit.

Dubai Noise Monitoring Network

Dubai Municipality Environment Department continues the operations of network noise monitoring stations, which consist of ten stations distributed in different areas of the emirate. The trial run period phase for all stations begins in the middle of May.

The stations are operating fully with renewable energy (solar power),  the network of 10 stations was installed and is currently operated by Vibrocomp ME.

Online and Personal Odour Survey in Dubai Al Warsan area

The Environmental Planning and Studies Section (EPSS) at Dubai Municipality in cooperation with Vibrocomp ME started the project  Odour Emissions Study across Al Warsan Area and Development of Odour Control and Management which is considered as one of the strategic projects in the emirate of Dubai. 
The project includes a detailed study of the odour generated from landfills, sewage, and other odour sources in the Al Warsan area.
The objective of this survey is to find the individual perception of Dubai residents on odour.

Study of Toxic Air Pollutants and Particulate Matter Characterization in the Emirate of Dubai

Dubai Municipality awarded Vibrocomp ME the "Study of Toxic Air Pollutants and Particulate Matter Characterization in the Emirate of Dubai" project. Vibrocomp carries out the significant air quality sampling, laboratory analysis and dispersion modelling programme to evaluate the toxic air pollutants and particulate matter in the Emirate. 

The project will provide information and form a basis to judge the compliance with the relevant air quality standards. Furthermore it will serve as the foundation of new air quality management action plans and policies, and will provide database for the future abatement strategies and measures.

By fulfilling the ambitious goals this project will significantly contribute to Dubai's vision: Creating an excellent city that provides the essence of success and comfort of sustainable living.
