Institutional capacity building for the Environment Agency Abu Dhabi

We reached a significant milestone in our Noise Mapping project for the Emirate of Abu Dhabi. Today marked the commencement of the first of three training sessions for stakeholders at the Environment Agency of Abu Dhabi. Mr Mina Elias and team taught participants the essence of noise measurement. In addition to our primary objective of creating a comprehensive noise map for the whole Emirate, we are dedicated to enhancing institutional capacity in noise management for EAD.

High-speed rail systems are particularly susceptible to ground-borne vibrations, which can affect not only the stability and safety of the rail network but also the surrounding environment, including nearby buildings and infrastructure. Proper vibration mitigation measures are essential to prevent potential damage, minimize noise pollution, and ensure a smooth and comfortable ride for passengers.
